Artist Support Grants fund professional and artistic development for emerging and established artists to create work, improve their studio operations, or bring their work to new audiences. Artist Support Grants support a broad range of talented artists in the disciplines of visual arts, performing arts, literary arts, and interdisciplinary arts.
Individual artists and small, unincorporated groups of collaborating artists who have lived in Chatham, Harnett, Johnston, Lee, or Wake County for at least one year are eligible to apply for grants up to $1,500.
2025 Artist Support Grants
The application for 2025 Artist Support Grants has closed. Applications for 2026 will open on June 1st, 2025.
Please Note: Applicants who have previously received funding through this program must wait at least two years after the award year to become eligible to reapply. Grantees from 2023 and 2024 are not eligible to reapply for 2025.

- Logos, Program Ads, and Acknowledgement Language
- It is the responsibility of the grant recipient to determine their state and federal income tax liability as it relates to the grant award and to file appropriate tax forms. (United Arts sends 1099 for $600 or more).
- Grantees are required to keep United Arts informed about grant-supported programs and activities. Submit your event to our arts calendar.
