Raleigh Fringe Festival is an alternative performing arts festival for everything weird and wonderful, coming September 20-22 to Theatre Raleigh Arts Center. This event includes 12 ticketed events and more than 15 free and pay-what-you-can events open to the public.

Commedia dell' Arte is an improvisational comedy style that started in the 16th century Italian Renaissance. The characters, themes, and style of commedia influenced entertainment for centuries and is often taught in theater history classes. I Firenzi is a troupe that researches history, performs, teaches, and brings the 16th century style of commedia to life!
