[post_content] => Commedia For the People is presented as part of the primary lineup at the Raleigh Fringe Festival.
Commedia dell' Arte is an improvisational comedy style that started in the 16th century Italian Renaissance. The characters, themes, and style of commedia influenced entertainment for centuries and is often taught in theater history classes. I Firenzi is a troupe that researches history, performs, teaches, and brings the 16th century style of commedia to life! Our show at Raleigh Fringe Festival will share classic commedia and offer a class after the show to allow audience members to try it themselves! See https://ifirenzi.com for more information.
Content Warnings: Commedia dell' Arte as presented by i Firenzi may have some adult themes but will fit within the modern expectations for PG13.
Directed by Lara Coutinho-Dean
Individual show tickets and all access passes are available.
Raleigh Fringe Festival would like to thank our presenting sponsor, Theatre Raleigh.
