Professional teaching artists (individual artists, ensembles, and arts organizations) are eligible to apply to participate in the Artists in Schools (AIS) program. Accepted programs will support K-12 learners in today’s school environments while making relevant connections to arts and/or non-arts curriculum standards through at least one of the following artistic disciplines: dance, literary, music, storytelling, theatre,
or visual art. Artists accepted into the program are included in the Artists in Schools Directory and are eligible to participate in the annual Artists in Schools Expo (formally known as the Cultural Arts Booking Fair).
Policies and procedures related to Artists in Schools are available for review in the Artist Guidelines section as found in the orange box to the right.
Information Sessions for Prospective Artists
