2025 Pieces of Gold is One Week Away
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Raleigh, NC – February 26, 2025 – United Arts Wake County, in partnership with the Wake County Public School System, is proud to present the 2025 Pieces of Gold, an annual celebration of student artistry and talent. This year’s event will take place on March 5, 2025, at the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts.
Pieces of Gold, a cherished tradition for over 40 years, showcases hundreds of students performing in front of a packed audience of more than 2,000 parents, teachers, and community members. The evening highlights a variety of performances, including choral music, dance, and theater, demonstrating the incredible artistic abilities of Wake County students.
Gifts of Gold, presented alongside Pieces of Gold, showcases the visual arts of WCPSS students. While Pieces of Gold features student performers, Gifts of Gold highlights their visual counterparts, celebrating the diverse artistic talents of Wake County students. The Gifts of Gold exhibition will be on display at the North Carolina Art Museum from March 17 to April 14, 2025.
Pieces of Gold is one of the largest and most anticipated student arts events in Wake County, reflecting United Arts’ commitment to fostering artistic expression and arts education in schools.
