Mission Support Grants offer general operating support for arts organizations that are based in and operate most programming in Wake County.
2026-2027 Mission Support Grants
The application period for Mission Support Grant funding for July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027 is now open. Guidelines are available here. The direct link to the application is here.
Organizations interested in applying for Mission Support Grant funding are required to attend an information session. All sessions will be held virtually via Zoom. Register for a session that best defines your organization’s annual operating expenses at https://forms.gle/wwnb26edTbkYkbjQ6.
- Organizations with budgets under $150,000: Wednesday, February 11 at 11:00 am or Saturday, February 14 at 10:00 am
- Organizations with budgets above $150,000: Thursday, February 12 at 11:00 am or Tuesday, February 17 at 4:00 pm
If you are a nonprofit organization with a specific mission to provide services or technical assistance to arts organizations and/or individual artists and not to perform, produce, present, or exhibit artistic work, you might be eligible to apply as an Arts Service Organization. 2025-2026 Mission Support Grants
United Arts invested $309,000 in grants to 38 arts organizations across Wake County for 2025-2026. United Arts is dedicated to helping these arts and culture organizations create diverse and inclusive art events, programs, and services for all Wake County residents. List of the 2025-2026 grantees.
