Pieces and Gifts of Gold

Celebrate Student Talent at Pieces of Gold & Gifts of Gold 2025!

Pieces of GoldMarch 5, 2025 | Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts

Gifts of GoldMarch 19, 2025 – April 13th, 2025 | North Carolina Museum of Art

Each March, United Arts partners with the Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) to present Pieces of Gold, an unforgettable evening showcasing nearly 1,000 student performers in front of an audience of over 2,000 parents, teachers, and community leaders. This dynamic event highlights the incredible talent and dedication of students across Wake County through music, dance, and theater.

Complementing the performances, Gifts of Gold is a juried visual art exhibition featuring exceptional paintings, sculptures, and illustrations created by students from over 90 WCPSS schools. This inspiring collection will be on display at the North Carolina Museum of Art (NCMA), offering the community a chance to celebrate the creativity of young artists. A reception honoring the WCPSS student artists will take place on April 10, 2025, at 6 PM, bringing together students, educators, and community members to recognize the importance of arts education.

This year, Pieces of Gold marked its 42nd anniversary, while Gifts of Gold will celebrate 32 years of artistic excellence! Relive the magic by exploring previous years on the WCPSS Facebook Page.
