Drew Gehling makes his Theatre Raleigh debut with a one-night only concert!
Currently starring as William Shakespeare in the Broadway production of & Juliet, Greensboro native Drew originated the role of Dr. Pomatter on Broadway in the Waitress after helping develop the piece at the American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge, MA during the summer of 2015. Drew also developed the new musical Almost Famous at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego,later opening the musical on Broadway in the fall of 2022 . He joined the company of the award winning off-broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors for a limited engagement in 2023 and premiered a movie for Hallmark he co-wrote the story for with his dear buddy, Kevin Duda. Concurrently, the theatrical release of Waitress, which premiered at the TriBeCa Film Festival has been universally acclaimed and continues to stream worldwide. On television and film, Drew can be seen in HBO’s Succession, 30 Rock ,Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Smash, Blue Bloods, Chicago PD, and A Good Person with Florence Pugh and Morgan Freeman, and more.
