Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo’s “Sunrise Mass” has been described as a metaphysical journey from the heavens to earth, a metaphor for human development, a spiritual journey. Marvel at the beauty and sonic acoustical space of the Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral as the 170-voice Master Chorale Symphonic Choir and 50-voice Youth Choir is joined by a symphonic string ensemble. Also on the program will be works by Arvo Pärt, Felix Mendelssohn, and Josef Rheinberger.
