North Carolina Indian and South Asian Film Festival promotes the film artistic appreciation, and exhibits independent films of South and East Asian Origin or by South and East Asian filmmakers covering various genre’s/ themes/topics from around the world. This is accomplished with moderating a live Q/A /discussion sessions during screening between the filmmakers/other’s talented within the industry and the viewer’s of the film art in theater medium/and by Hosting a Filmmakers Conference.

This year the film festival is screening films by filmmaker’s from the following asian backgrounds: Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Korean, Mauritian, Pakistani, Singapore, Taiwanese, who reside in Canada, Taiwan, S. Africa, India, U.S.A, U.K.
