Synopsis: Mary is always late, and she hates holidays. Crick and Mary have been in love since 2nd grade, but they don’t agree on much: art, money, their baby’s name or gender. Crick wants to call the baby “Jill”. Mary wants to call the baby “Blue”. Outside the city limits of Pittsburgh, a lady cowboy named Red teaches Mary to ride a horse. Crick buys a painting with the last of Mary’s savings. A story about gender, queerness, and love told through cowboy lullabies and wide open spaces.
