Beer and Banjos is a free, family-friendly weekly gathering of music lovers with a rotating cast of musicians onstage at Raleigh’s Bowstring Pizza and Brewyard. The music starts at 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday, either on the patio under the stars when weather allows, or tucked cozily inside by the bar.
Tips are gratefully accepted to support the musicians. Parking at Bowstring is free, but there are limited spaces. More free parking is available at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church off Whitaker Mill Road.
This week’s guest band is Laika’s Lost, playing the music of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Pat Metheny, and Herbie Hancock plus a few originals, all loosely tethered in outer space.
