Anchorlight is a creative space, founded with the intent of fostering artists at varying stages of their development. Anchorlight provides a combination of artist studios, residency opportunities, and exhibition space. Through the establishment of an internal community of artists, designers, and craftspeople, Anchorlight encourages mentorship and the cross-pollination of knowledge and skills.
Bi-annually, Anchorlight opens its doors to the public for guests to visit, view, and interact with studio artists in their working spaces. This Winter Open House will have 20+ studio artists opening their doors, a closing ceremony of Stacey L. Kirby’s ‘Division of Ancestral Deeds’ exhibition in the gallery, and the Artist Project Space will be hosting a very special fundraising sale of works by Anchorlight studio artists for WNC support.
