Who’s Gonna Make Our Music?!

This program is all about participation! Concerts include sing-a-longs, bang-a-longs, and an improvised song with audience suggestions. Instruments include voices, guitar and homemade, recyclable, object instruments. This show proves to each and every participant that they are indeed a musician. Themes include ecological awareness, community connection, and various curriculum-related songs.

Both in-person and virtual (live and pre-recorded) options are available for this program.


Artist Background

Billy Jonas is known internationally for highly engaging and energetic performances. With a focus on song writing and creative percussion, Jonas’ concerts for adults and families have entertained across the continent. Billy has a new family CD to be released Fall, 2014. His six prior CDs and two DVDs have garnered a bevy of honors and critical acclaim, including a New York Times “Best”ť listing, a First Place Gold from American Federation of Independent Musicians, and multiple Parent’s Choice Gold Awards. “Happy Accidents”ť received a USA Today “10 Best of 2009″ť award. In April 2010, Billy and the Band were invited to play at the White House! Jonas has a degree in music from Oberlin College.
