Movies are the great stories of our time, and music is key to painting the picture and setting the mood. Featuring some of the most famous and recognizable movie themes, this performance will take students on a thematic journey through the movies, culminating in the popular movies of today. Students will learn how music itself can paint a vivid picture, learn about various instruments that are used in the making of music from movies, and learn connections between history and music. During this high-energy show, students will engage in various activities and verbal interaction with the performers. Vocabulary and contextual descriptions are adapted to be age-appropriate for each grade level.
