Brighten your School with Colorful Banners

Brighten your School with Colorful Banners

Students will enjoy creating large, vibrant, impressive fabric banners that are permanently installed in your school lobby or other location of your choice. These bright, colorful hangings bring a child-centered, creative and arts friendly atmosphere to your school. Using professional fiber arts dyes, students will be engaged learning a variety of exciting fiber art techniques. Student’s self-esteem will be elevated, knowing they are creating a permanent legacy for their school. This residency is a great way to encourage a sense of school community, as all school staff and parents are encouraged to add their own mark. The artists, Leni Newell and Kip Baker, work with teachers to adapt the program to appropriate skill levels for grades 2-12. Our residency is best suited for one grade level in order to provide the total experience from beginning to end of this exciting process.
