This survey is part of a process is to support and achieve Goal ES4 of the Board of Commissioners’ goals and key strategic actions that identify the County’s top priorities.​

• ​Goal ES 4: Support, promote, and celebrate arts and culture.​
  • ES4.1: Develop and implement a countywide arts plan that fosters and supports the art community and establishes Wake County as an arts destination.

The overall goal is to develop a cultural plan as a roadmap for a vision of the cultural future of the county.​ To be executed on behalf of the county by the county’s designated local arts agency, United Arts, over the next seven to ten years.​
