September First Friday: THE EVERYDAY

THE EVERYDAY is a multi-venue, multi-discipline, cross-disability project headed by an international steering committee with the curatorial goal of highlighting universal experiences, told from the disability perspective, presented in an audacious way.

As a part of THE EVERYDAY project, King Godwin and Theresa Devine will be showing their works that highlight arts from a disability perspective.

When: 6-8 pm drop in, audio described tour at 6:30 pm.

Where: United Arts Council, 410 Glenwood Ave., Suite 170, Raleigh. (The entrance and parking lot are on Tucker Street, which crosses Glenwood Avenue.)

This reception is free and open to the public. Stop by for refreshments and view the exhibit! Everyone is welcome. Art on view through the end of September. For questions, please call (919) 839-1498.
