What is the Raleigh/Wake County Adaptive Leadership Circles Program?
A new initiative for local arts and cultural organizations from the United Arts Council, Raleigh Arts, Kenan Institute for the Arts, and
EmcArts, with additional support provided by The Mary Duke Biddle Foundation. The program’s goal is to help arts community members navigate the substantial challenges created by COVID-19.

When does the program begin?
Scheduled to start in September, the Raleigh/Wake County Adaptive Leadership Circles Program is a six-month virtual peer cohort for local nonprofit arts and cultural leaders designed and led by arts innovation leader EmcArts.

What will program participants learn?
Participants will affirm and strengthen the adaptive change and leadership capacities frequently found at the core of the artistic process – the same capacities that contribute to flexibility, innovation, and reinvention when addressing critical organizational issues.

Who can apply?
The Raleigh/Wake County Adaptive Leadership Circles Program is open to any nonprofit arts and cultural organization with well-established arts programming that is located in Raleigh or other surrounding Wake County communities.
