In June, the Arts & Economic Prosperity 5 study was released from Americans for the Arts. In partnership with the North Carolina Arts Council and Americans for the Arts, United Arts Council, Raleigh Arts Commission, and Town of Cary presented the results of this study, which found that the arts are a $557 million industry in Wake County. The impressive data shows a significant increase in industry expenditures over the past five years. Many of you (representing area arts and cultural organizations) graciously participated in the study. Eleanor and Lyman will discuss ways you can bring this useful data back to your audiences and supporters.
