Learning Lunch: Evaluation for Arts Programming

Evaluation for Arts Programming: Keys to Understanding Why and How

Presented by Chanda Branch

Thursday, September 21, 2017

Noon – 1:30 pm

Arts organizations work hard to touch lives in an effort to improve our city and our society, but can you demonstrate and communicate the specific impacts of that work on the community? This learning lunch will explore a variety of methods for evaluating arts programming, as well as why evaluation is important and how to implement techniques correctly. Come learn about established best practices in the field and share your thoughts, adventures, attempts and misfires with other arts leaders in a supportive environment.

Chanda Branch is the Vice Chair of the City of Raleigh Arts Commission, the Chair of the Arts Commission’s Grants Committee, an arts educator and nonprofit consultant. Through her tenure in the public schools, Branch gained substantial expertise with performance measures and numerous methodologies for evaluating arts programs.

The event is free and open to the public.

Brown bag lunch and United Arts provides beverages. RSVP to [email protected].
