Saturday, December 5. 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Location: North Carolina Museum of Art
For: Elementary School Teachers
This will be an interactive session lead by Kristin Smith, Project Director for THE BIG PICTURE Educator Enrichment Program at the North Carolina Museum of Art. This BIG PICTURE workshop will provide strategies to help educators make connections between art and classroom concepts. This workshop will include a guided gallery experience and hands-on creative opportunities that can be adapted for the classroom.
This session is free, but you do need to register.
Please register for the December 5 workshop by emailing [email protected] with your full name, position, school, and email address. Please feel free to extend this invitation to other classroom teachers, arts teachers, administrators, or even an involved parent from your school. However, please know that because we can only accommodate a limited number of participants, we will only accept a maximum of four individuals from each school. Additional individuals will be wait-listed. The deadline to register for the December 5 event is November 23, but as space is limited, we recommend registering asap!
