Number Drummer …in 10,000 seconds, led by Troy Kryzalka
This workshop consists of an interactive exploration of Number Drummer (counting, addition, money, patterns, skip counting, multiplication, division, fractions, probability, ratios, algebra, etc…) as well as Creative Math and "Beat-Ball," opportunities to take what was learned in the first half of the workshop and get creative with it.
The workshop is action-packed from beginning to end so teachers experience it just like the students. Participants should bring a basketball if possible (extras will be available). A digital PDF of most of the activities as well as a few reinforcement/extension activities will be available for participants after the workshop.
