The application process for the 2021 Piedmont Laureate is now open. Writers of children’s and young adult literature for youth up to 18 years old are encouraged to apply. The selected candidate will focus on elevating children’s and young adult literature in Wake, Durham, and Orange counties. The application submission period closes on October 9, 2020 at midnight.
