DESCRIPTION:“Sing anything. Love and music are the last to go.” (quote from the libretto) \nAlzheimer’s Disease has affected millions of people all over the world. The people who suffer from it\, and those who know and care for them\, must navigate a changing and challenging existence. At times somber\, and at times humorous and inspirational\, Robert S. Cohen’s oratorio\, Alzheimer’s Stories is a musical reflection on this path trodden by many. Paired with Jake Runestad’s The Secret of the Sea\, Becoming the Ocean and The Ways of Stars the concert explores the vastness of our human journey together on this earth.

DESCRIPTION:Raleigh Camerata’s Ensemble Absolut presents: Le trésor du romantique\, an afternoon of amazing and delightful works for early Romantic piano and wind instruments. Featuring pianist Katya Kramer Lapin\, this free concert will be a dazzling opener to Raleigh Camerata’s 2024-25 season. The afternoon will feature early Romantic works on original instruments and copies thereof\, and pianist Kramer Lapin will perform on an original 1840’s Fortepiano by Wihelm Dörr of Vienna.
