DESCRIPTION:Commedia For the People is presented as part of the primary lineup at the Raleigh Fringe Festival. \nCommedia dell’ Arte is an improvisational comedy style that started in the 16th century Italian Renaissance. The characters\, themes\, and style of commedia influenced entertainment for centuries and is often taught in theater history classes. I Firenzi is a troupe that researches history\, performs\, teaches\, and brings the 16th century style of commedia to life! Our show at Raleigh Fringe Festival will share classic commedia and offer a class after the show to allow audience members to try it themselves!
