The Diversity in Arts Leadership (DIAL) internship is a program that serves undergraduate students from demographic backgrounds underrepresented in arts leadership. Each summer for ten weeks, interns are supported through an internship at an arts host organization, a mentor, professional development and cultural activities, as well as a cohort that will serve as a strong foundation to their growing careers. Six regions around the United States will be hosting interns for summer 2022, and for the first time, United Arts is pleased to make this program possible for arts organizations across Wake County!
We are starting to recruit host organizations for the summer of 2022. Arts hosts who become part of DIAL have the opportunity to host eager and passionate interns and provide substantive projects, phenomenal support, and growth opportunities to our DIAL participants.
