NATIONAL AND LOCAL ARTISTS UNITE WITH
FOUR LOCAL ARTS ORGANIZATIONS AND WRAL TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE ARTS
Big Night In for the Arts Returns on March 9 at 7:00 p.m.on WRAL
Featuring Rissi Palmer, Chatham Rabbits, Beth Leavel, and more!
The sponsor deadline extended until February 17, 2023
Raleigh, NC—The arts councils from Chatham, Durham, Orange, and Wake Counties, in partnership with WRAL-TV, are joining forces once again to broadcast Big Night In for the Arts. Over the past two years, this regional fundraising initiative has raised more than $615,000 to ensure that the arts and culture will continue to thrive and remain a part of what makes the Triangle a unique place to live, work, and play.
This year’s superstar line-up includes Grammy-nominated country musician Rissi Palmer, roots music duo Chatham Rabbits, Tony Award-winning star Beth Leavel, Appalachian-Venezuelan fusion duo Larry & Joe, stick artist Patrick Dougherty, and spoken word poet and current Piedmont Laureate Dasan Ahanu.
**NEW** This year includes a Triangle-wide watch party. In addition to the WRAL broadcast, Big Night In sponsors at all levels will be invited to the in-person watch party at The Mayton in Downtown Cary, NC, with a special live performance from Rissi Palmer!
The Triangle arts councils are grateful to their generous corporate and individual sponsors who have already stepped up to support the arts through this event. The sponsor deadline has been extended until February 17, 2023. Supporters can make a gift to benefit the four counties collectively or designate which specific county they would like to support.
