Dear Friends,
The death of George Floyd, coming on the heels of the recent deaths of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and countless other Black people due to structural racism and brutality, has shaken our community.
United Arts seeks to build a better Raleigh and Wake County through the support of and advocacy for the arts. We believe that the arts are a transformative tool to bring people together to explore our shared humanity and build empathy and compassion for one another.
We are committed to engaging with organizations and artists to support initiatives to heal our community from these historical and more recent wounds and create a more equitable future.
We celebrate voices that fight and advocate for justice and equality, and together, we can create change.
