The exhibition includes photos and artifacts from when Pullen first opened in 1961 until present day. The work from members\, instructors\, and staff spans across multiple mediums\, including pottery\, painting\, photography\, drawing\, and printmaking.

DESCRIPTION:Join multimedia artist Anna Lee and curator Annah Lee for a discussion of Anna’s solo exhibition on view at Artspace Dec 5-Feb 2.\n\n\nJoin artist Anna Lee and former Artspace Creative Director Annah Lee for a conversation on animation\, the dissonance of living in the age of technology\, memory\, and more as they discuss Anna’s solo exhibition My notifs are off\, come to my art show on view at Artspace from Dec 5-Feb 2. \n \nAbout Anna Lee \nAnna Lee is a multimedia artist and filmmaker with a BA in Art and Design from NC State. She was a 2024 NC Emerging Artist in Residence at Artspace and is the founder and curator of Scatterbrain Screenings\, a screening and workshop series focused on showcasing the work of independent animators in the Triangle. She is currently pursuing an MFA in Experimental and Documentary Arts at Duke University. In addition to her visual pursuits\, she is a performing flautist and composes original music for the majority of her film projects. His career took off when his song “Dead Skunk” became a Top 20 hit in 1972. From there\, he’s written two dozen albums of frank and often funny songs and performed live shows that leave audiences both challenged and charged up. \nHis songs have since been recorded by the likes of Bonnie Raitt\, Johnny Cash\, Earl Scruggs\, Kate & Anna McGarrigle\, his son Rufus Wainwright\, and Mose Allison\, among others\, and have been used in movies and theater. The Grammy award winner even returns to acting sometimes\, with roles in the TV show “M*A*S*H” and films including “The Aviator\,” “Big Fish\,” “Knocked Up\,” and “The 40-Year-Old Virgin.”
