DESCRIPTION:This workshop series focuses on the techniques and approaches needed to accurately render diverse facial features and hair textures.\n\n\nThis is a two-part workshop that will meet on Saturday October 4th + 11th (1-4pm). \nThis workshop series focuses on the techniques and approaches needed to accurately render diverse facial features and hair textures. Participants will learn how to illustrate dark skin tones\, monolids\, broad noses\, and a variety of hair types including kinky\, coily\, curly\, braids\, and locs. Through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice\, the class will explore shading\, proportion\, and texture techniques that bring out the beauty and individuality of every subject. Afterward\, he began exhibiting throughout the Triangle and completed a residency at Lump Gallery. DESCRIPTION:Ages 50+\nAging Gracefully: Meaningful Movement Explorations – As we age it is important to keep the body moving\, the brain focused\, and the spirit fueled. In this technique/creative dance class\, we will do so in a healthy\, FUN way. We will warm the body\, moving in a way that encourages each dancer to better honor and understand their unique physicality. \nNext\, dancers will explore different ways to generate movement phrases. Inspired by poetry\, visual art\, and personal experience\, we will create dances; accessing the wisdom of the body to express our relationship to the world\, each other\, and ourselves. \nNo prior dance experience needed\, just a willing heart <3
