
Both funny and poignant, this show of mime and monologue tells the story of how Trent Arterberry chose a career in the arts. Following terrain familiar to any teenager, Arterberry overcomes parental expectations, peer pressure and dead-end paths as he ultimately learns to follow his heart. “The delightful and personal account of finding your calling and overcoming the obstacles that life throws up.” (Showbill.ca) This program concludes with some hilarious audience participation and is adaptable to both middle and high school audiences. The goal of this show is to facilitate discussion around career direction and character development.

Artist Background
Trent Arterberry is an award-winning performing artist whose unique brand of physical theatre combines mime, storytelling, comedy and drama. Arterberry is looking forward to returning to touring across the US and Canada to schools, community theatres, festivals and libraries with four different one-man shows. He also tours as one-half of the theatrical production Super Scientific Circus.
