Coloring Stories

An interactive performance that features audience participation in “creating” a story. Recent performances include a “dramatic” reading of the Dr. Seuss classic, “The Cat in the Hat” with percussion accompaniment that was followed by the ever popular “Green Eggs and Ham”. Designed for grades K through 3.

Both in-person and virtual (live and pre-recorded) options are available for this program.


Artist Background

The Raleigh Symphony Orchestra has the resources and flexibility to meet the needs of today’s educational institutions from classical to jazz! Within our musician base, we are able to provide ensembles that range from soloists, woodwind quintets, brass quintets, string duos, string trios, string quartets, jazz duos, jazz trios, 18 piece big band ensembles, percussion ensembles and even a full symphony orchestra. A community resource since 1979, The Raleigh Symphony Orchestra annually receives critical acclaim for its performance quality and innovative programming and high artistic standards. Raleigh Symphony is a past recipient of the City of Raleigh Medal of Arts Award.
