United Arts kicks off its annual signature fundraiser week with one magical evening...an unforgettable cocktail party with a profusion of artists, food and music on Wednesday, October 21, 7–10 pm. The party will be held at Studio 123 at 13 Seaboard Avenue, Raleigh. Tickets are $50 and all proceeds go United Arts’ Artists in the Schools Program.
Last year’s party featured the smash hit of veteran face painters Peanut Butter and Ooh La La who return this year from Philadelphia by popular demand. Their exotic face painting in 2008 had party goers lined up all evening to join in the unique fun.
The event is hosted by Georgia & Alec Donaldson, Peggy & Jim Fain, Jan & Alex Floyd, Doug Holbrook, Carole & Rick Marcotte, Mary & Neil Saunders, Cece & Peter Scott, Cindy & Richard Urquhart and Chris & Charlie Wagner, along with input of the creative genius of Studio 123: John Griffin, Cindy Jones, Sarah Proctor, Martha Richardson, Molly Rhode and Catherine Williams.
