East Wake Residency Ends with
Free Bluegrass Performance
 
Traditional musician Charles Pettee is leading three weeks of residency work in three eastern Wake elementary schools (Wakelon, Wendell, and Forestville Rd.). Residency activities connect to the American history curriculum taught in fourth grade. In addition to free jam sessions held in each community, there will be a free concert as the culminating event. This concert will feature Charles Pettee and his group Chuck and the Waggin’Ears, Al Batten and the Bluegrass Reunion, and Rogers and Johnson.
