Funding Opportunities for Arts Programming
United Arts will offer grants for arts programming in Wake County for 2009-2010 in the following categories: Community Arts, Festivals, Youth Arts Programming and Seed Funding. Guidelines may be requested by contacting Virginia Zehr at 919-843-1498/.
Because of the anticipated tight market for fund raising, for 2009-2010, United Arts will not accept applications from “new” organizations, defined as applicants that have never submitted an application to United Arts and applicants that may have received funds in the past but not in the last three years. (Exception: Seed Funding Grants)
United Arts will also suspend project grant categories for 2009-2010, including Arts in Education, Audience Engagement and Municipal Partnerships.
