Winners Announced for Sixth Annual
National Arts Program® Exhibition

United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County and the Raleigh Arts Commission have announced the winners of the sixth annual National Arts Program Exhibition featuring artwork by City of Raleigh and Wake County employees and their families.
 
The National Arts Program is designed to give all artists, at every level of skill, an opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional manner. Eighty-two (82) artworks — including paintings, photographs, sculpture, mixed media, and crafts — are included in this year’s exhibition. The artwork is on display through Jan. 13 in the Block Gallery at the Avery C. Upchurch Government Complex, located at 222 W. Hargett St. The exhibition is sponsored by the Raleigh Arts Commission and the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County.
 
This year’s exhibition was judged by experienced arts professionals Megg Rader of the Collector's Gallery and Rachel Berry of the Visual Art Exchange. The following individuals were selected for awards, which will be presented in early 2009:
