In April, United Arts Becomes
Part of First Friday Art Walk
in Downtown Raleigh
 
 
On Friday, April 4, United Arts will join other downtown arts groups and galleries in presenting an art exhibition during the First Friday Art Walk. United Arts begin regular participation in First Friday with an exhibit of entries from the 4th District Congressional High School Arts Competition during the April First Friday.
 
The 4th Congressional District Competition is administered collaboratively by the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County, the Orange County Arts Commission and the Durham Arts Council.
 
Each county’s arts council will recruit two judges who will select the top three entries from among all the 4th District entries. This year’s entries will all be judged at the District level. Entries are due to the appropriate arts council by March 31.
