United Arts Council and Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Invite Nominations For 16th Annual Business Support of the Arts Awards
OCTOBER 17, 2005 - RALEIGH, NC -The United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County and the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce announce that nominations are now open for the 2006 Business Support of the Arts Awards. These two organizations present these awards annually to businesses, organizations and individuals who have promoted the arts and humanities in Wake County in a significant way.
The 2006 Business Support of the Arts Awards will be presented in June.
Support of the arts is critical to the well-being of Wake County's citizens. The arts enhance our quality of life, our children's educational experience and our overall business climate. We salute Wake County businesses and individuals for their outstanding contributions toward building a strong and vibrant arts community. You are invited to submit your nomination and help recognize specific contributions made over the past year and longer.
The United Arts Council's mission is to build better communities through support and advocacy of the arts. The mission of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce is to sustain and further develop a thriving economy and to enhance our community's quality of life.
